TAGGING SERVICE

• For those of you with lots of great items who are simply too busy to price and tag, we created this option for you!  So many great toys, gear and clothes never make it to the customers who need or want them—only because their owners don’t have the time to prepare.  Our Tagging Service solves that problem.
• To participate, send us an email and let us know you want to use the Tagging Service.  Spots for this service are very limited and will fill quickly.
• Tell us if you want to donate your items if they don’t sell.
• Tell us if you want to reduce your items to half-price for the half-price sale.
• Collect your items for sale. Make sure all clothing and toys are clean.
• We will package your items, price and tag them based on the going rate for similar items at the sale, and place them on the sales floor for you.
• Instead of receiving 70% of the proceeds of your sales, you will receive 50% and the remaining 50% will go to charity.
• DEADLINE:  we need time to prepare your items for you.  ALL ITEMS MUST BE DROPPED OFF TO US BY APRIL 21.

PRICING YOUR ITEMS ON YOUR OWN

• Minimum price is $2.00 for an item.
• Price in $1.00 increments, i.e., $2.00, $3.00, $4.00 etc.
• Group items together to meet the $2.00 minimum if necessary.
• Questions on how to price?  Contact us and we will email/send you a pricing guide!    A general rule: price at 30% of the retail price.

 TAGGING YOUR ITEMS
You have two options.  You can:

• Handwrite your price tags on 3 x 5 index cards OR
• Use our downloadable, fill-in tagging template on our website.  Shoppers love this tag, so if you can use it, please do so! Tags printed out MUST be on cardstock--regular paper falls apart and sticks to other tags and we cannot pay you for those tags.

WHAT GOES ON THE HANDWRITTEN TAG? (See picture below)

• Use a 3 x 5 index card
• Top line: size
• Second line: description of your item
• Third Line: price
• Fourth Line: If you want your item reduced to ½ price at the end of the sale, write an “R” and circle it.  If you don’t want it reduced, leave the “R” off entirely. If you want your item donated to charity if it doesn’t sell, write a “D” and circle it.  If you don’t want it donated, leave the “D” off entirely.
• Bottom line:  your consignor number

USING THE TAGGING TEMPLATE ON OUR WEBSITE 

• Option A: Download the template, type in the missing information right on the computer, print your tags and cut them out.
• Option B: Download the template, print it out, handwrite in the missing information, and cut the tags out.
• Print on cardstock OR print on regular paper and staple your tag to a 3 x 5  index card for strength. 
• Don’t use regular paper for your tag-- it will fall off or be destroyed during the sale. We won't pay you for lost or missing tags even though your item sold.
•  If you want your item donated, circle “Yes” next to Donate. If not, circle “No.”
•  If you want your item reduced to half-price at the half-price sale, circle “Yes” next to Reduce.  If not, circle “No”.

WHERE DO THE TAGS GO?

• CLOTHING:  Use a safety pin and attach your tag to the upper right corner of clothing.  (See pictures below.)  Make sure we can remove the tag in one piece because the tags are used to tally your proceeds!
• SHOES: Place them in a clear Ziploc bag and tape the card to the inside of the bag.  Or, tie/attach shoes together and tape tag on the bottom or side of the shoe.  You can also leave them in the box if they’re new and put the tag on the box top!
• TOYS AND EVERYTHING ELSE: Tape tag to the item.
• Items will be inspected and any items not meeting the above criteria will not be put out on the sales floor.
• We will be unable to sell items if they lose their tags.  They will be donated to charity at 5 p.m. on the day of the sale.

  
 
  HANGERS 
We can supply you with hangers for your clothing.   You may also choose to use your own white plastic or clear plastic hangers.  We find the kind from Old Navy, Carter’s, Bon-Ton, TJ Maxx, Target or Osh Kosh work best. (We do not accept wire hangers or colored hangers.)

Hangers will be available at drop-off on a first-come first-serve basis or at an alternative location earlier in April if one can be secured. Consignors may choose what they need at their convenience until the hangers run out.

Pants hangers:
Small (infant to 3T)
Large (4T+)

Shirt hangers
Infant (newborn to 18 mos)
Medium (24 mos to 5T)
Large (6 +)
Maternity shirt/dress

Specialty hangers (Hangs 2 pieces together, like pajamas or sets)
These only work for infant thru 2T

For maternity pants, we have some adult pants hangers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
